Turning Earth into Art
Welcome
I'm a teacher and potter based in Godalming, Surrey, where I share my love of all things of the Earth, Wheel and Fire.
For over a decade I've been larking around with mud, finding my groove handbuilding and throwing pots on the wheel and offering them up to the flames! My work is available in my shop and by commission.
I offer studio workshops and pottery experiences for small or larger groups and family fun sessions. I also host events at hospitality venues including Pottery at the Pub evenings as well as corporate social and team building events at your place or mine!
If you are up for discovering what you can create then EW&F could just be what you have been looking for.

About
A Supportive Community for Creatives
Earth Wheel and Fire offers a calm and supportive space for the creatively curious. All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to those looking to develop their skills in clay.
Working with clay connects us with the earth, others and ourselves. My aim is to encourage you to nurture your creativity and take some risks -though it's only mud, after all! I offer experienced, hands-on support to enable you to achieve your own creative goals.
Pottery at the Pub!
The sellout 'Throwdowns' at the Fox and Finch pub in Godalming are a blast and very popular. They offer a chance to try your hand at throwing on the wheel or making handbuilt beauties. Gather for a sociable evening of pottery fun, grab a drink from the bar and watch a step-by-step demo before rolling up your sleeves to give it a go with one to one hands on help from me.
Your pot will be fired and glazed for you to collect a few weeks later.
The out door wheel throwing sessions at the pub is on pause for autumn but will return!
Private Wheel Throwing Workshops
In this fun and relaxed two hour and a half hour session, learn to throw on a wheel on a one-to-one or book with a friend. Also suitable for those wanting to develop their skills. Get in touch to explore a throwing party for larger groups. Gift cards available to treat someone special.
Pottery on the Gower
Thanks to all the lovely people who joined me at the fabulous Gower Heritage Centre in August to try their hand at this most ancient of crafts in this historic and beautiful setting.
It was wonderful meeting all generations as you took your seat at the wheel for wheel a throwing throwing taster or joined a handbuilding workshop to make something of use and beauty inspired by this spectacular landscape.
